• Scope: removal of old color-steel roofing and installation of new tiles; derusting and reinforcement of steel structure; removal of old exterior wall panels and installation of new panels; replacement of gutters and drainage; overall facade renewal
• Main materials: 0.5 mm high-weathering color-steel tile; 50 mm glass-wool insulation; 0.4 mm fluorocarbon-coated exterior wall panel; 304 stainless self-tapping screws; hot-dip galvanized steel purlins
• Key difficulties: warehouse must remain operational during renovation; large high-altitude roof area requiring strict edge protection; high precision required for waterproof detailing at old-new structure joints

Safety Measures

• Dual-hook harness for high-altitude work: roof and exterior-wall workers wear dual-hook harnesses throughout, 'hook high, use low.'
• Mobile scissor-lift platforms: 8–12 m self-propelled hydraulic scissor lifts with guardrails.
• Roof edge protection: ≥1.2 m guardrails with posts ≤2 m apart and dense safety nets.
• Site enclosure & warning: 2.0 m color-steel enclosure fully closes the work area with night warning lights.
• Weather control: no high-altitude work in wind ≥ level 5, rain/snow, thunder; summer peak-heat shifted.
• Certified personnel & pre-shift briefing: all high-altitude workers hold Work-at-Height certificates; 15-min safety briefing daily.
• Temporary power three-level leakage protection: independent switch box per device, locked and managed by a dedicated person.
• Hot-work & fire prevention: hot-work permits, fire extinguishers and fire pans; fire hoses and extinguishers on roof.

Construction Flow

1. Demolish original roof/exterior wall — remove old tiles and panels in sections, centralized waste removal.
2. Substrate inspection, derusting & reinforcement — blast-derust steel, epoxy zinc-rich primer + acrylic topcoat.
3. Purlin installation & insulation — new galvanized purlins per drawing, spacing ≤1.5 m; lay 50 mm glass wool.
4. New color-steel tile laying & seaming — 0.5 mm high-weathering tile with 360° standing-seam, lap ≥200 mm.
5. Gutter & drainage replacement — replace stainless gutters and downpipes, verify slope.
6. Exterior wall panel installation & trim — install fluorocarbon panels by grid lines, neat corner detailing.
7. Overall acceptance & handover — water-spray test, waterproof-node check, appearance evaluation, then handover.
