This project is the roof waterproofing works for China Telecom Wujiang Branch's Bailongqiao Warehouse, with a construction area of 3,550 ㎡ and a duration of 10 days. We completed SBS modified bitumen waterproofing and rainwater-system replacement with high quality; after completion the waterproofing performed well with no leakage.

Safety Measures

• High-altitude protection: roof workers all wear harnesses and helmets; guardrails and warning lines at edges.
• Hot-work management: fire extinguishers and dedicated watch during hot-melt; hot-work permits and clearance of combustibles.
• Power safety: one machine / one switch / one leakage protector; cables overhead, no unauthorized connections.
• Material storage: rolls and fuel stored separately, away from fire, clearly labeled and guarded.
• Weather & process control: avoid rain/snow/wind; substrate moisture content qualified before work.
• Clean site: clear up after work, sorted waste removal, minimal impact on warehouse operations.

Construction Flow

1. Substrate cleaning: remove sandy/hollow areas, sweep dust and debris, ensure firm and flat substrate.
2. Detail reinforcement: additional layers at internal/external corners, pipe roots, outlets first.
3. SBS hot-melt full adhesion: heat roll and substrate with torch, roll to expel air, tight laps.
4. Rainwater system replacement & acceptance: replace damaged pipes, pass ponding test, hand over.
